PLEON Science Internship
PLEON is seeking an undergraduate intern to assist with field sampling, sample processing, laboratory analysis, and data management, and to help lead the Lake Wallenpaupack Community-led Water Quality Monitoring Program by supporting trainings, assembling sampling kits, and working with citizen science samples.
This is a hands-on summer internship (20–30 hours/week, some weekends) with outdoor work in varied conditions. A modest stipend and free housing are provided. Dates: May 18–August 14, 2026 (negotiable).

Lacawac Science Internship
This entry-level summer internship is ideal for students interested in ecology, conservation, environmental science, or environmental education. Interns work 20–30 hours/week (some weekends) and should be comfortable with outdoor work in varied conditions, including boats, hiking, and physical labor. A personal vehicle is strongly recommended due to Lacawac’s rural location. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to work in the U.S.
A modest stipend and free housing (shared kitchen/bathroom and dorm-style rooms) are provided. Dates: May 18–August 14, 2026 (negotiable).

Multimedia Internship (Graphic Design Focused)
This Spring 2026, 5–10 hours per week internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in graphic design, multimedia, or communications who want to build a professional portfolio while contributing to a mission-driven organization. Interns work both on-site and remotely and receive a $150 weekly stipend. Dates: May 18–August 14, 2026 (negotiable).

Environmental Education Internship
This summer, 20-hour-per-week internship is ideal for students interested in environmental science, education, or outdoor learning. Interns develop skills in lesson delivery, outdoor classroom management, experiential learning, and professional communication while working in a nonprofit field station and nature preserve. A $150 weekly stipend is provided. Dates: May 18–August 14, 2026 (negotiable).
