Let Us Put You to Work for Lacawac!

The Adopt-A-Trail program aims to create trail stewards who will assist in maintaining, beautifying, and preserving our trail systems. This program is on a personal basis where adopters can come and work as they please. Consistent, trails should be surveyed/maintained on a weekly – biweekly basis. (4 times per month or 2 times per month)

The Flora Guardians are a hands-on group of volunteers who care for Lacawac’s native gardens and natural landscapes. They plant and nurture native species, mulch and weed garden areas, and learn about the local ecology that supports pollinators, birds, and wildlife. This team is perfect for anyone who loves spending time outdoors and wants to make a direct, positive impact on the environment. No experience is needed—just a passion for nature and a willingness to get your hands in the soil.

The Rest & Ready Crew helps create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest who visits Lacawac. Volunteers play a key role in preparing cabins, making beds, organizing spaces, and tidying common areas, ensuring that guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. With an eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, this team takes pride in the small touches that make a big difference. It’s an ideal role for those who enjoy creating comfort and contributing to a cozy lodge environment.
