The World of Butterflies: Identification & Exploration

Join us for an exploration of the fascinating world of butterflies! During this program, we’ll learn about butterfly life cycles, habitat needs, and the important role these pollinators play in our ecosystems. We’ll take a closer look at monarch butterflies while also discovering some of the other butterfly species found in our region.

Participants will learn how to identify butterflies, understand the plants and habitats they depend on, and discover simple ways to support these amazing insects. Weather and conditions permitting, we’ll also have the opportunity to observe butterflies up close in their natural habitat.
