Join us for a summertime adventure at beautiful Lake Lacawac! Theresa Black, our resident lake scientist and all-around nature enthusiast, will lead a relaxed, hour-long hike along the lakeshore—sharing stories about the lake’s glacial origins, its unique ecology, and the ongoing research that helps keep this pristine treasure healthy.
After the hike, you’re invited to hop into a canoe and explore the lake from the water. Theresa will guide the paddle, point out features you can only see from the lake’s surface, and answer all your curious questions.
Come enjoy a beautiful day outside, learn something new, and celebrate Lakes Appreciation Month with us!
